I do apologise for not doing things over the weekend but
here is my blog on day 3
American Mancuso was the fastest in the women’s combined
downhill run 1 followed by Germanys Gut in second place
In the team figure skating final rank Russia got the gold followed
by Canada wit silver and the USA with the bronze medal
In the ski jumping German Froyd had a bit of an accident as
the way that he landed had to hurt as he tried to jump that little bit further
than he should have. To make the hill it costs them 50 million dollars I hope
that they are able to make the money back
I feel that defining jumping by points rather than by distance
make things fare but I also think that the harsh reality of sport should be
thought of too
Kamil Stoch won the gold medal in the Hemil Stoysch of Slovenia
took silver and Anders Bardel of Norway took the bronze medal
I like the short track speed skating as I feel that there is
a high quality high passed sport that anyone can win and I think it works very
well as there can be accidents as the racers take on the corners and come out
of them
In the men’s 1500 metres short track speed skating Charles
Hamelin of Canada got the gold Tianyu Han of china got the silver and Victor An
of Russia got the bronze but you have to have sympathy for Jack Wheelbourne who
twisted his ankle from a move made by Han who received silver
The women’s alpine combined is a sport that makes me ask how
do you know you can do this. Because it does seem that the aim is t hit the
sticks and make them move and when you are skiing at such a pace and have to
move from point to point and having to move your body so it moves with the
angles
Maria Hoefl-Riesch from Germany won the gold medal in the
ladies super combined in silver is Nicole Hosp of Austria and the winner of the
downhill get the bronze Julia Mancuso of the United States of America
I am not the biggest fan of biathlon but I can see the interest as one of the main things you have to do is control your heart rate as you have to run and keep it up and when you shoot you have to calm it down
Getting the gold in the men's 12.5 kilometre pursuit the gold medal was given to Frenchman Martin Fourcade the silver going to O Moravec and the bronze to JG Beatrix of France
