In the women’s 10km sitting biathlon Anja Wicker from
Germany got the gold medal with no shooting errors. Svetlana Konovalova of
Russia got the silver medal and in bronze was Lyudmyla Pavlenko of ukrane got
the bronze
In the men’s 12.5 is was a Russia whitewash with them
getting all 3 medals gold went to Roman Petushkov with no errors on the gun in
silver also with no errors Alexey Bychenok and bronze went to Grigory Murygin
all from Russia
In the women’s 10km standing Alena Kaufman from Russia won
gold in silver was Oleksandra Kononova of Ukraine got silver and Natilia Bratiuk of Russia got the bronze
In the men’s 12.5km standing Azat Karachuribn of Russia won
gold silver went to Nils Erik Ulset of Norway and the bronze went to Mark
Arendz of Canada
In the women’s 10km visually
impaired Mikhilina Lysova of Russia won gold fellow Russian Iuliia Budaleeva
won silver and Ukrainian Oksana
Shyshkova won bronze
In the men’s 12.5 visually impaired Vitaliy Lukyanenko of Ukraine
won gold silver went to Nikolay Poukhin of Russia got the silver and Vasili Shaptsaboi of Belarus got the bronze
There were some weather problems which meant that the Alpine
skiing could not be complete as there was fog so no one could see far enough
ahead and events from earlier in the day had to be cancelled and there has been
no results from as only one half of the double events could be played
Questions need to be asked like why didn’t they continue
playing as it was still daylight
My player of the day was Roman Petushkov as he won gold in a
Russian 1,2,3
