RTE and Old anologue what I have watched

I am going to rate some shows that I am interested in out of 100 points.  See what you think!

 

OLD ANOLOGUE BBC1 BBC2,ITV1, Channel 4, and Channel 5

 

Under the dome, channel 5: currently running Mon 10pm Australia  

This is a drama about a bunch of people living inside a dome if people try to get out they get shocked by electricity and they die. We see how certain people set up to take control of the situation and in this early stage it is a very friendly place. We see how hard it is to get a radio signal. We see one guy trying to get his way with a married woman but her husband is outside the dome.

I like this show at this stage but is very early in the show and I would like to know what is going to happen. Would I like to be in this world? No, because the concept would terrify me. 

At this time I will give it 50 points

 

 

Doc Martin, ITV: Currently running Mon 9pm GB

Doc Martin is a Tv show about Martin Ellingham an autistic type character. We see that he does not understand what exactly is going on in his head. We see that he is married to a primary school teacher and now he has got a baby. We see that he finds it difficult how the other people think in the community

I like it very much as I have been watching it for a long time

Would I like to be in this world. It might help me understand who I am

I will give it 60 points

 

Holby City, BBC 1: Currently running Tue 8pm  GB

Holby city is a drama about a hospital, at the moment we see that Chrissie has cancer and one of the nurses is asking Rick for a higher placement

You have to be very involved in this show to watch it and in my opinion that is a negatitive as well as a positive

Would I like to be in this world? No, its too stressful

For drama a 80 but for must watch I would give it a 40

 

 

CSI New York, Currently running on a Tuesday on 5 US

The CSI plot is simple and excites me as it makes me wonder what is going to happen next there are also sub plots like in CSI new york at the moment a character is finding it difficult to recognise simple things like numbers and colours and another one has married a foreigner and his friends do not think its right but it is all about solving the murder and how they do this

 

Would I like to be in this world?  If I could get used to the gore

I am going to give this show 75 points  

 

Neighbours, channel 5: Australia

Neighbours is the only soap that I would watch without thinking about it. Parts of the show now are very aimed at a more adult audience ie Amber dating Robbo a guy whose sole purpose is to take down her brother and Kate who is in her twenties and now knows that she can not have children.

Would I like to be in this world?  Honestly I am not sure

I would give it a 65 but I never want to miss it which makes it much more important to me

 

 

 

I love my country,  Currently running 7.10 sat :bbc 1 UK

This is a quiz show showing how much celebrities know about TV. The first game is where they put a British item in the area that they think it is after guessing it from a fill in the dots. They also pick Tv theme songs  and songs from Jamilia and her band singing but in my opinion the big thing is the wheel of points at the end I think that makes it

Would I like to be in this world?  It seems like a lot of fun

I will give this show 65 points

Stepping out, Currently running Sat 6.30 : ITV UK

In my opinion this show is too similar to strictly with the judges and the main host the only difference that I see is rather than using pros they use each other as couples. They dance and are judged by the judges and then are voted for by the public.

Would I like to be in this world? No, Its too stressful and wouldn’t suit me  

I still want to watch this sometimes but for being too close to another show I will give this 20 points

 

Through the keyhole, Currently running 9pm Sat : ITV  UK

This again is a copy of a similar idea done years ago by the BBC. They search through the house for clues before the celebrities have to figure out who is at the house then they have a short chat

I do like this show but must mark it down because it is not original or no original twist. I will give it 35 points. I do like this idea

Would I like to be in this world yes. I would like to show my house on TV

 

Dragons den, Currently running Sun 8pm :BBC 2  UK

I think that this is a very good idea as is gives people with business ideas have to sell a percentage of their business to the dragons and they normally want more. This also gives young people way to talk to people who can make money as they have the right contacts so they can help. It also puts their business in the spotlightI do like Duncan and Peter as I have the feeling that they know what they are doing.

I have to give these 83 points

Would I like to be in this world? I would like to be a dragon but not the one selling

 

Football focus,  Currently running : BBC 1 12.15 UK

Football focus is the TV show that gives you news views and interviews about the world of football. We also have ex footballers on the sofa.

I have to give it a 44 points

Would I like to be in this world? With a bit of revision yes I think I would like it as if there is one thing I can do well its talk football

 Gadget show, channel 5 UK

This is a show trying to show you the best gadget that are available at the moment. We also see one of them go out and test the amazing gadgets that are out there.

I will give this 62 points

I would love to live there with all of the modern things there every day and being able to see the new gadgets sometimes as they are made.

Comedy

 

The last leg, currently running channel 4 : wed 10pm UK

This is a show promoting disabilities in a positive way. One of the questions that they do ask is is it OK and they also have a celebrity guest but they sometimes do take it a bit too far and do not know the limit of how far to go

I will give this 73 points

I don’t know if I would like to live here or not as I would have a laugh but sometimes I might not understand what or why they do it  

RTE

Royal pains : RTE 2 US

Royal pains is a drama about 2 freelance doctors and their everyday lives. I like it because it is a good drama and I like the way the 2 main characters are brothers and how they help people. I like the way that now the main actress is having money problems and One of the brothers wants to help

I would like to live in this world as everyone is friendly but not as a doctor

I will give it 35 points

 

Malabu county Currently running Rte 2 2.30pm US

This is a drama about a woman who left her rock star husband to try to become a rock star in LA so we see how she copes with being a parent living with her mother her 2 children and the woman who lives across the road

I will give this a 60

I don’t know if I would like to be here or not it seems like an interesting place to live and I think I could cope but I am not sure if I would like it

 

 

The Hit : Rte 1 IRE

 

This is a reality show where song writers go into a room and singers have to go in and hear the song if they really like it they lock it in while if they don’t they just go to the next room

I will give this an 87

I would love to be here as I have an interest in song writing

The neighbours : RTE 2 US

 

 

This is a TV show about Aliens coming to earth and having to learn our ways. There is a massive family of them and they have no sense of what it is is to be human I find the show to be very original and very funny

I will give this a 90

I would love to live here I would find it to be a lot of fun
