moments in irish recent history

Can anyone let me know what their special memories are of the last 25 years in Ireland ????????

These are my ten memorable sporting events and ten famous events which happened in Ireland which have stayed in my memory in the last twenty five years:

SPORTING EVENTS:

1.       That penalty against Romania in Italian 90 (soccer)
2.       Dennis Taylor beating Steve Davis in 1985 world snooker final  
3.       The success of the GAA

4.       Tyrone winning first All Ireland in 2003
5.       Brian O'Driscoll being able to win the 6 Nations in his final season in Irish rugby
6.       Three golf major winners based in Northern Ireland
7.       Ken Doherty winning the world snookers championship 1998
8.       Ireland beat England at the Cricket World Cup 2011
9.       Brendan Dolan made the 9 darter starting on the double 2011 
10.   When the Republic went to penalties against Spain without Roy Keene in 2002

  10. President Obama Coming to Ireland
