This is my short blog on what Chelsea had done to get the great result that they needed against PSG last night a result that with the money and players PSG had few people saw coming

It did take Chelsea some time to waken up as PSG were starting to get some control of the match. As Lampard and Oscat are have some wake up shots that are bringing Chelsea into the match. After 18 minutes Edan Hazzard gets an injury and it looks bad for him at least for now. Cavenari hits a free kick off the wall. A beautiful free kick hit by Luis on 29 minutes saved but Chelsea is starting to get somewhere.

Hazards replacement Shurrle is the one that scores this goal. A long throw on the tight from Ivanavich a flick on the head of David Luiz a calm first time finish from 12 yards as the ball dropped onto his right foot. At this time a hopeless Chelsea is one goal from the semi final

A couple of minute’s later Chelsea feels that they deserved a penalty but no go. After 54 minutes Oscar hit the bar from a free kick. After 74 minutes Oscar hits in a quality cross that no one is able to get onto. Canvari misses a sitter as he takes the wrong option from 10 yards

 

A long ball is lumped into the box. The ball was half cleared to Azpilicueta who’s 20 yard shot is deflected across the box. Ba is lurking at the fart post. Real Madrid survived a Boricia Dortmand scare as they only lost by 2 goals to 0 against boricia Dortmand last night with Reus on 24 and 37 scoring the goals. The first goal came when Pepe headed Pisczeks long bal;l out of defensive shot of Casillis. Ruis steped in to steel possession before knocking the ball past the Real keeper slotting the ball into the empty net. Reus did a quality 1,2 with Levendoski to run on and put the ball into the net for 1-0 the second came

Sanjay is a human who talks to a snake who tries to help him do some of the insane stunts that need to be done. In the most recent episode they wanted to protect a burp in his stomach and both sanjay and Craig wanted to protect it so they went to their mother the doctor

The world according to a superhero family as we get to see in to the life of a supero family. At the start we get to see that the girl wants to take her friend to visit her family but her family want to protect themselves. At the start we get the chance to see that one of the family is evil and how that effects them as he takes them into their evil layer. The father wants to be a superhero by showing that he can save a Childs party by being a different version of him

Holby now is at an important part of its storyline as Jack has made decisions that has made it almost impossible for him to make the correct decision as if he had of came to the wedding on time there would not have been a decision to make but Jack had created a surgery on her brides brother which put him in an impossible position and it will be interesting where it goes from here

Tottenham won 5-1 over Sunderland First a goal for Sunderlandand for reasons that only he can know the ball is passed across the back 4 by Chriches right into the path of   Catamol  who hits from distance and the keeper can not get there 17 minutes gone 1-0 sunderland Erickon down the left trick the back line he then whips the ball in with his left foot no none bar Andabayor reacts and gets  equalised by Adebayor on 28 with further goals Perfect cross from erickon into Kane who gets the equaliser on 59 Erickson is given all the time to line up his shot which gets a deflection and goes in 78 Ball shipped forward wes Brown has a poor clearing header into the path of Kane who beats the keeper Adebayor  makes certain just before full time on 86 and Sigurdsson on 90+2 after Sunderland have a poor corner experience

 

Leister city became the 18^th team to enter the premiership on Saturday after beating Shefield Wednesday 4-1 QPR loosing and Derby County not getting the win needed to assure there  safety this means that Burnley are in pole position to get that second poison. Do QPR have the time to catch them only time will tell?

In the Gaelic football Tyrone lost out by a point but they had problems as Dublin scored 3 goals before Tyrone got started. But they were able to bring the game back to level but they lost out and with Mayo beating Derry in the other match Tyrone lost out to Mayo Dublin Cork and Derry.

A sport that I would not have thought to watch was netball as it is a lot faster than what it seems the areas that teams come from are wide ranging but the disappointing thing is that there are only 8 teams in the league which means they play the same team too many times

In the final day of the preliminary stage of the darts 2 players would get relegated and there would be 8 competitors rather than 10 Peter Wright beat Gary Anderson 7-5 in the first match followed by Micheal Van Girwin drawing with simon Witlock next was a Draw between Levis and Van Barnavelle Dave Chisnal won 7-5  over Wes Newton  and Phil Taylor won 7-4 over Robert Thornton this relegated Newton and witlock so neither will continue in the competition

In the Cricket world cup final Sri Lanka beat India by 6 wickets securing the T20 world cup 2014. Sri Lanka had 134 for four from 17.4 over’s while India has 130 for 4 from 20 over’s but there was a major problem with the weather for the first part of the day as there was a good bit of rain. Having lost 4 finals in 7 years Sri Lanka finally got the chance to win a T20 world cup. Indea looked very lacklustre in the match. Kohli held the innings as Indea won the toss. Indea could only make 11 off 21 balls and there seemed to be very little hope whatsoever. The target seemed to be quite easy as Sangakkara and Jayardena were able to get there winners medals.

 

Not even Kochi could stop the disapline of the Sri Lanka bowlers as they looked to have control of this match. Kulasekara and Mathews started very well. Kohli came off with a one off drive. Rohit changed between defence and attack. Before Rohats dismissal Kohat had a chance as an error was made as a simple catch went wrong. On Saturday Man city defeated  Southampton by 4 goals to 1 at the City of Manchester stadium and it looked comfortable from the start as on 2 minutes they had a penalty as Kolorov looks to slip the ball to Nazri but he is caught out by chambers the right back is soon supporting Laklana in attack but he is disposed. Toure passes to Silva who passes to Djecko the big forward runs into the box and is tripped by the trailing leg of Fonte that’s a penalty. Toure scores to his right and puts the keeper the wrong way. Man City lead 1-0 after 4 minutes.

 Cork dribles into the box and is tripped right in the corner by Zabaletta. Lambert chipped the ball into the top right hand corner 37 minutes gone its 1-1. Silva slips the ball down to kolorov down the left hand side of the area via a neat flick from Djecko. Djecko was offside when the ball hit him. Kolorov hits the ball to Nazri who score from 5 yards. 45 plus 1 Southamptons work is all kaput and it gets worse minutes later as more neat work from Silva 20 yards out and just to the left. He passes to kolorov on the touchline who hits in a quality cross across the face of goal for Djecko who put the ball into the net off the post 45+1 its now 3-1 Man City  

 

81 minutes gone its now 4-1 as Navas goes down the right flank and hits a low cross. Negredo comes in and brings 2 defenders and the goalkeeper towards him none of them get anything on it and Jovetic puts the ball into the net with no one near him from 8 yards

On Sunday Liverpool won 2-1 with 2 controversial decisions one going with them and one going against them. The first Liverpool penalty was perfectly fine as Suarez is through on the left and lifts the ball past Tomkins and the defenders arm gets in the way. Gerard then goes to tuck the penalty aay 1-0 Liverpool. The equaliser came as Caroll clearly fouls Minulet as the ball comes in Daniel pounces on it and hammers it in. The reds clearly think that they were wrong to award the penalty   The second penalty was a pass out wide to Flanagan who was caught by the keeper Aidrian  who caught the ball and then the man. The first penalty was a clear and odious one as this one was not so much.

All of this sets up the game on Sunday as Liverpool ply Man City at Afield and this could be the title contender.

Ulster had a hero’s performance yesterday after loosing their match to Saracens by 2 points loosing by 15 to 17 to English club Saracens. Why this was a hero’s performance was because Jared Payne got sent off in the fifth minute for a high tackle. With Mike Ashton being one of the players of the match as he scored 2 tries and Botha scoring to make the score 17 points to 9  1 but Farell scored 1 kick from 10 shots and missed some really easy penalties as if he had hit them they would have won this match by half time.  2 Paddy Jackson shots did make this a game and if Ulster had a chance they could have won the match which was unbelievable.  

 

Leinster lost to Tolon by 29 points to 14 but by half time it was 9 points to 6 after that Chiocci and Michell scored tries that would wrap up the game for Tolon. But Geordon Murphy did give Leinster some hope in the last few minutes. But the boot of Giteau with 2 conversions and 2 penalties secured the win for Tolon even after Johnny Wilkinson was taken off after he had hit 2 penalties. Leinster can now focus on the Pro 12 but Tolon are starting to look like a real force.

 

Munster managed to win their match against Toulouse by 47 points to 23 and the result was as comfortable as it seemed Triews from Keeth Earls, Zimon Zeebo Paul O’Connell Kilkoyne and Sandler gave Munster ontol of this match with Kietly hitting 3 penalties and 4 conversions he does seem ready to take the Munster mantel of Ronan O’ Gara. In reply Tolouse scored 2 tries one from Geer and Tekori but the penalties came from Mc Alister with 3 and Beauxis being able to convert both tries. In my opinion Munster will have it hard in the semi final as they travel to Tolon one of the best teams in Europe at the moment  

 

In the other match in the quarter finals Clemaunt beat leister in a tight affair by 22 points to 16 in a very tight match

E lavazzi getting an early goal on 4 minutes after hitting a shot from 12 yards. Chelsea then  equalised on 27 with Edwin Hazard from a penalty after Thego Silva needlessly fouled Oscar in the box.   Lavezzi had a free kick which David Luis put into his own goal on 61 J Pastore forced his way into the penalty area to drive the ball in from a tight area to get a last minute goal on 90 plus. This completely changed what Chelsea have to do in this tie and next week Jose Morinho has got a problem as Chelsea must now win 2-0 or by 3 clear goals

 

 

 

 

 

 

Benzema won the ball near the real corner flag and flipped it into Isoc who noticed Bales run into the box and fed him a quality pass. The Welshman took the ball in his stride before beating him from 6 yards. 3 minutes gone Real 1-0 Dortmund. Real’s second goal on 26 was there failure to clear the ball from the back enabled Alonso to roll the ball to Isco who sent a well controlled low shot into the bottom of the net. Reals third on 67 put Dortmand out of the tie Moderic passes to Ronaldo who wrong footed the keeper with a quick shuffle off his feet and rooled the ball into the net from 10 yards.
