In the women’s alpine skiing slalom second run visually impaired Aleksandra Franceva of Russia won gold silver went to Jade Etherington of Great Britain and bronze to Slovenia’s Henreta Farkasova
 

 
 
 
 
In the women’s slalom second run standing Andrea Rothfuss of Germany won gold silver went to Igna Medvedeva of Russia and the bronze went to Petra Smarzova

In the womens slalom sitting Anna Lena Forster from Germany won gold silver went to Kimberly Jones of Canada and bronze to Laurie Stephens of the USA Anna Turney was quite unlucky as the 34 year old Britain finished fifth

n the cross country skiing men’s 1km sitting Roman Petushkuv of Russia won gold, silver went to Grigory Murygin also of Russia and bronze went to Ukrainian Makysm Yarovyi






In the women’s sprint sitting legend Tatyana mc Fadden fro the USA could only get silver as she trailed behind Mariann Marthinsen of Norway the bronze went to German Andrea Escau  

In the men’s sitting sprint final Roman Petushkov of Russia got gold his 4th in 5 days silver went to Grigory Murygin also from Russia and the bronze to Maksym Yarovyi of Ukraine
 

In the womens sprint standing Anna Milenia of Russia got the gold silver went to Iulia Batenkova of Ukrane and the bronze went to Alena Kaufman

 
 
 
 
 
 
In the men’s sprint visually impaired Canadian Brian Mc Keever won gold after he fell earlier in the race and you do not see determination like that to much in sport. Sliver went to Zebastian Modin of Sweden and bronze to Oleg Ponomarev of Russia
 

In the women’s sprint Visually impaired Mikhalana Lysova of Russia got the gold followed by Elena Remizova and the bronze medal went to Oksana Shyshova of Ukrane preventing a Russian 1,2,3

My athlete of the day is Roman Petushkov as he got 4 gold in 5 days
