This is my first sports blog and I hope for it to be a regular thing and it is to do with
the luck of the Irish and how we have had a good bit of it this week.
First was Brian O Driscolls final match for Ireland as they
won the match against France by 22 points to 20 but France has had a forward pass.
Ireland seemed to have control of most of the match as at one point they led by
8 but France did put in a good performance and Ireland were lucky to win
In the Cricket Ireland beat Zimbabwe by one run and it was a
questionable one at that I was not sure of but the one person I am sure of is
Kevin O Brian as he was the main person in this game getting 320 not out and
taking the game from being lost to being anyone’s to win. Players like Ed Joyce was a big player for the
Irish also
Zimbabwe have beaten the Dutch today to keep their hopes of reaching
the knockout stages alive but it was a very close as they only won by 6 runs in
a final 2 balls which turns into a 5 wicket victory. still have a chance but in the other pool
Bangladesh look to be going into the pool stages.
Chelsea defeated Galatasaray on Dedier Drogbas return with a
2-0 win and seem to be the only English side through to the quarter finals but
man U play today Chelsea got a awesome start as Oscar slips the ball to hazard
on the right the ball is slipped through to Etoo who scores 4 minutes gone 1-0
Chelsea. John terry gets the freedom of the penalty area and bullets a header
from a corner a creat save by the keeper and Gary Cayhill puts it in the net
after 43 minutes Chelsea 2-0 which turns into the final score.
